This trek is located in the lap of Mt. Everest with 4 days walking into Dudhkosi River (Khumbu) valley. There’s a view point nearby Khumjung Village from where you will be amazed by an impressive mountain view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Mt. Amadablam. Trekking starts from the gateway of the Lukla from where all the adventure begin. Everest View Trek is known as Everest Panorama view Trek that would be the best destination for those travelers whose dream is to visit Mt. Everest once in their life.

Everest View Trek begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Lukla is one of the busiest mountain airports of Nepal that lies at an attitude of 2,840m above the sea level. It is the gateway for the trekking towards the Everest region up to the base camp. Mt. Everest itself is the boarder peak between Nepal and China. During the expedition climbers gets to the summit from both sides. For This trek, our journey starts from the Sagarmatha National park. This trek takes you to the stunning view point of the Everest range. You will be rewarded with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains that rise above the clouds. You’ll also encounter lush valleys and extraordinary views of rivers, hikes over a suspension bridge and forests enriched with flora and fauna. It could be the best opportunity for you to enjoy the most beautiful sight of dense pine forest, rhododendron flowers, and plenty of wildlife on your way to Namche Bazar(3,440m). After having an acclimation at Namche Bazaar you will continue your trek through Tengboche Monastery (3,860m),the home of highest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region which is considered as the best destination for spiritual paths as well. Then we will head to the Khumjung Village where you can have a sight of alluring village of the Sherpa people.

Everest View trek can be planned throughout the year. However, for better views, autumn and spring are considered as the best seasons to plan this vacation here in Nepal.

Day 1
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

You may arrive any time during the day. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by one of our airport representatives who will help you get transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. There are no planned activities for the day, so you may check into your hotel for the evening and relax.

Day 2
Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,652 m) Walking distance: 8 km | Duration: 3 hours

From Kathmandu you will take Early flight to Lukla. The landscape changes from green hills to snow-capped mountains as you enjoy the view of your 40-minute flight. Upon landing in Lukla, the trek starts as you head towards Phakding.

Day 3
Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) Walking distance: 10 – 12 km | Duration: 6 hours

Your journey leads you to the Khumbu, Namche Bazaar, which is also known as the gateway to Everest. The trail walks mostly alongside Dudh Koshi River and goes through rhododendron and magnolia forest leading to the checkpoint of Sagarmatha National Park at Mojo. Then, crossing Dudh Koshi River several times on suspension bridges, you arrive in the Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar.

Day 4
Day to acclimate Walking distance: 3 – 4 km | Duration: 3 – 4 hours

Rest day in Namche for acclimatization purpose. However, we will hike up to Hotel Everest View (3962m), the highest operating hotel, for a stunning panorama of Mt. Everest (8848m) along with other peaks of Khumbu. Later, you can explore the market of Namche and visit the Sherpa Museum to get to understand the culture and life of the Sherpa in the Himalayas. Namche Bazaar is known as the little thamel during the season time.

Day 5
Namche to Tengboche (3,860 m) Walking distance: 10 – 11 km | Duration: 6 hours

Day 6
Tengboche to Namche (3440m)

Day 7
Namche To Lukla (2886m)

You will retrace your way from Namche Bazaar to Lukla following the trails of Dudh Koshi River. As you trek through the rhododendron forest, you will pass many Sherpa villages, age-old monasteries, painted Mani walls, and prayer wheels before you arrive in Lukla. Later, you can explore the small town of Lukla and also interact with the locals. Overnight in Lukla.

Day 8
Fly Back to kathmandu

Once back in Kathmandu, you will have free time to explore the city and rest.

Day 9
Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour

Your guide will take you to some of the major sights like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Buddhanath, Pashupati Nath, and Bhaktapur.

Day 10
Farewell and departure from Tribhuvan International Airport

A representative from our office will take you to the airport in time for your departure. We look forward to your next adventure with us
