lhelambu

For stunning views on snowy white mountain peaks, rocky ridges, green bamboo forests, colorful rhodondendron trees and clear blue holy lakes, you chose the Langtang-Gosaikunde trek. This 12 day moderate trek traverses the mountain area North from Kathmandu. The Langtang valley is lies between the main Himalayan range to the north close to the border with Tibet, and a lower range of snowy mountains to the south. The Langtang area is unknown to the majority of trekkers, and therefore worth it to go.

Unfortunately the Langtang region was the area hardest hit by the earthquake in 2015. Nowadays most of the villages and lodges are rebuild and the inhabitants are longing for the opportunity to receive new trekkers.
