Langtang Trek - 10 Days

Langtang National Park as the first protected area in the Himalayas.Although Langtang Valley can be reached by a day’s drive from Kathmandu, this area is still unknown to the majority of trekkers.Dominated by the Langtang Himalayas this valley trek is relatively short but one which the trail, at altitudes of under 4,000m, except for a sunrise climb up to Tserko Ri at 5,000m. From the view point of the Tserko Ri you will get must amazing view of Langtang Lirung(7227),Kinshung (6781), Yubra (6264) Yala Peak (5500)langshisa Ri (6560).

Langtang Treks leads you throw green Nature with along the langtang River through rhododendron, and bamboo forests, along thundering waterfalls, and under stunning snow-capped mountains. while you are walking throw the National park if you got lucky enough you will get chances to see the wild life Activities.

Unfortunately the Langtang region was the area hardest hit by the earthquake in 2015. Nowadays most of the villages and lodges are rebuild and the inhabitants are longing for the opportunity to receive new trekkers.

Day 1
Pick Up From Tribhuban International AirPort

Transfer to the hotel and a relax day.

Day 2
City Tour

Tours around Kathamndu valley.

Day 3
Drive To Syabrubesi

8 hours drive from kathmandu to sybrubesi.

Day 4
Syafru Beshi to Lama Hotel

The trek starts from the village Syafru Beshi and takes you on a trail that crosses the Bhote Kosi river and climbs through a scenic forest to the village of Changtang, also known as Lama Hotel.

Day 5
Lama hotel to Langtang Gompa

After Lama hotel you pass small villages in the forest. You reach the U-shaped glacial valley and follow the path all the way along the Langtang Khola.

You cross the village of Langtang which was completely destroyed after the earth quake in 2015.

After Langtang the path meanders on through yak-herding villages like Mundu, Sindum and Yampha. Enjoy a piece of Yak cheese from the cheese factory on the way.

Day 6
Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa

From Kyanjin most trekkers explore the surrounding valleys and make excursions to the viewpoint at Kyanjin Ri (4600m), or a longer daytrip to the east to Tsergo Ri (4984m) from where you have breath taking views on the Langtang mountain range.

Day 7
Kyanjin Gomba To Lama Hotel

You cross the village of Langtang which was completely destroyed after the earth quake in 2015.

After Langtang the path meanders on through yak-herding villages like Mundu, Sindum and Yampha. Enjoy a piece of Yak cheese from the cheese factory on the way back.

Day 8
Lama Hotel To Sybrubesi

For the return trip, you go back the way you came to.

Day 9
Drive Back to Kathmandu.
